HOW TO RECEIVE JESUS

Step One:

GOD’S DESIRE IS FOR YOU TO HAVE ABUNDANT AND ETERNAL LIFE

 The Bible Declares:

“I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it abundantly” John 10:10

 Giving you abundant life required a supreme sarifice

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16

God desires fellowship with you: What a wonderful gift! Since God has so powerfully demonstrated his desire to have eternal fellowship with us by sacrificing his only son, why not have what he has designed for us to receive

Step two:

RECOGNIZE YOU ARE SEPARATE FROM GOD

The Bible declares:

“There is a way which seems right to man, but in the end they are ways of death”

“your sin has made a separation between you and your God. And your sin has hidden his face” Isaiah 59:2

Saint Augustine once called the longing in each of us “The God shaped vacuum” everyday we hear of rich and famous people living the high life. Filling their lives with “things”. Yet they remain empty. For only God, through his son can fill that emptiness

Step three:

ACCEPT THAT JESUS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION TO SEPARATION

The Bible declare:

“But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Rom 5:8

“For there in one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ” 1 Tim 2:5

Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Only he can reconcile us to God. Mankind has sort out other solutions but Jesus Chris, alone, died on a cross and rose again. He has paid the penalty for our sin and removed the separation

Step four:

ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR

Are you willing to let go of your burdens and sin? Are you willing to repent from your sin?

Jesus Christ is the only way God. Only he ca reconcile us to God. Mankind  has sort out other solutions but Jesus Chris, alone, died on a cross and rose again. He has paid the penalty for our sin and removed the separation.
